What you do on your free time: I'm playing guitar in a progressive, sort of;), rock band, so I'm into music alot. If you're interested, please visit www.closersounds.com Other than that, I'm mainly playing WoW.
Where do you live: I live and work in Stockholm/Sweden.
How much unbuffed FR do you have:125 at the moment.
What is your current spec and would you be able to respec on request: My current spec is 8 points in elemental, for elemental warding, 5 points in enhancement for ancestral knowledge, and the rest is in restoration. I have healing way, but not healing grace. I have Mana tide, purification, nature's swiftness... The obvious I guess:) I also have the rank 10 healing wave from AQ. I would respec if needed.
What class, race, char name and level are you: I'm a female Tauren Shaman with the name Zipi, and she's level 60.
How long have you played wow/played time on this character: I bought WoW almost exactly one year ago, and my /played is 70 days on Zipi.
How much and what times do you play per week: I play about 4-10 hours a day. My current job allows me to play at work. However, some nights a week I will have to leave at about 21.15 game time, to go home from work. I will be back at about 22.40. And I rehearse with my band on wednesdays and sundays. Sometimes on sundays, we rehearse on day time, so I think sundays would work out fairly ok at least:P
Does this mean you can raid 19-23 most weekdays and 17-22 on sundays then? I wouldn't say MOST weekdays, I think I have an average of 3 full raids a week or something like that. The others have been interrupted by me having to get home from work.
Do you got any more chars: Yeah I have a level 60 warlock, which I'm mainly using for some PvP fun at the moment, but this will most likely be the character I will play in TBC.
Do you have any previous MMO experiences: I had a lvl 60 (cap at that time) Necromancer in Everquest 2. I was part of a succesful raiding guild called 'The Brotherhood' on the Everfrost server. Most people playing Everquest were americans, so the raid times were indeed a bit odd for me as a Swede:P I remember some nights I stayed up until 08.00 in the morning to raid. Once I tried WoW I got hooked tho, it's just a so much better game.
Reason why you wanna join: Valhalla is progressing nicely, but still not too far ahead of me gear-wise. I would like to experience a bit more of WoW as it is right now, before the expansion.
Do you know anyone in Valhalla: No I don't. Spoke a little with Quinnan today, but that's about it I think...
Whats your expectations of Valhalla: I expect a guild with players that know what they do, and players that does not go to bed early because Mom told them to.
What do you think you would provide to our guild: I would make sure my group is buffed with the proper totems, toss a heal here and there, and maybe keep you updated on any game news, since I'm a big fan of reading forums;)
What previous guilds have you been in, and why did you leave them: Guillotine, I was class Officer in Guillotine. It was a really hard decision for me to leave them, I have been in that guild since it started. An incredible amount of players have come and gone in Guillo during the past months, making progress very hard. It took us about seven months to clear MC. We, or they I should say, have been on Razorgore for about two months. Reached phase 2 twice, when we had a good raid set-up. Alot of people won't show up during the BWL raid nights, I guess the reasons are repair bills and lack of loot. But what really made me think, was when a player who had been in the guild since it started, had to leave because of low raid attendance. He applied to you after he left, Nofaitih, my RL brother. He was doing good in Guillotine, as a substitute player, who could fill late night raid spots, and he had lots of DKP when he had to quit. That made me feel like the guilds progress was above all, and a great bit of Soul was gone from the guild. If it wasn't my brother, I might not have reacted as strong as I did, I don't know... I fail to see why it mattered if he was in the guild or not tho, why not just let him stay?
Any other information you might want to share with us: I think this application is long enough anyway^^
What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? It would probably work without them, but I like CTraid, Decursive, Spell Alert, KTM. I have Teamspeak 2 currently, but if you're using Ventrilo, I'll just get it. Are you attuned to the instances necessary to join? Yes I am.
I recall that i have been pvping quite a bit with you when i did that some time ago. Didnt talk to you much but as far as i remember you were a nice guy.
And it seems you wont have a problem to keep the required raid attendence.
Agreed, both your and your brothers applications where good. Seems that you both have the same problem where you might not be able to join all raids. But if you can join on about 3 per week that is good enough for me.
Not very sure if we need another shammy but if we do i think this one should atleast get a few trial runs.
I'm awfully sorry guys, but I withdraw my application. I'm not sure what to do really, but I don't think my heart is really in my Shaman at the moment. I will put her on the shelf, and spend some time with my girlfriend and friends until TBC.
Since you really did a good application and you know how to play your class and your seem to be a nice guy. Was really satisfied of our chit chat yesterday you did a good impression.
So if you decide to change your mind, wich i think that you will do within a couple of days let me know and ill reconsider my decision.
