(Think I listed the most needed resistances there...)
Current specc: 21/22/8 (specc for having fun) Would you respecc if requested?: If my raid performance was not to the liking of the guild, then yes. But I'm never touching a mana tide again.
Class: Shaman. Race: Troll. Name: Grazzo..
Accumulated playtime for this character: 43 days and 10 hours at the moment. Time played at level 60: 24 days and 3 hours so far.
How much and what times do you play per week: I usually play what days I do not work, witch is usually 2-4. And when I play then I usually get stuck at the comp. So the days I play I usually play from 17-24 if there is anything to do, such as a raid.
Does this mean you can raid 19-23 most weekdays and 17-22 on sundays then? I'm afraid that is usually random due to having random workdays.
Do you got any more chars: Yes, 46 hunter and alot of scattered alts.
Do you have any previous MMO experiences: No other games than wow. ZG - Cleared. MC - Cleared. Ony - Slain. BWL - Up to Chrom. Naxx - Razuvious slain.
Reason why you wanna join: You seem like a fairly nice crowd with no mega high attendence requirements. Do you know anyone in Valhalla: Not what I know of. Whats your expectations of Valhalla: An average and mature raiding guild that still keeps a fairly casual label. What do you think you would provide to our guild: Heal, heals, totems and that thing we love; maturity. Previous guilds and reasons for leaving: The Bloodclot Clan (Disbanded) Chase the Dragon (Atmosphere made me feel allover bad and later disbanded) DUSK (I couldnt raid bwl and naxx atm.)
Any other information you might want to share with us: My shield sucks and NO, I havent even seen the Zulian defender drop or ever had the chance on Malistars.
What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? None, but stuff like CT_Raid and teamspeak/Ventrilo helps with hte raiding part.
Current attunements: Onyxia Molten Core Blackwing Lair Naxxramas
vote yes for trial (if we are not full on shammies)IF you can meet our attendence reqs (50% of 40-man raids) We dont need more members, we need more ACTIVE members imo.
But I am wondering about the "But I'm never touching a mana tide again" comment. This is not the kind of attitude I am looking for. Can you please give us a comment on why you are not willing to spec mana tide?
/vote yes for trial (given that the mana-tide issue get sorted out)
Gear looks quite good. We require 1-2 raids per week from each member.
Perhaps you should explain better why you hate tide-spec so much and what you do good enough to motivate us to take you in even if you refuse to spec full resto.
Also, given you've had more progress than us before, how do you feel about wiping/relearning on bosses you've already mastered with your old guild?
Relearning bosses arent a problem (I might even contribute), healing is what I do, check enchantments witch are made in the sole purpose of healing. When I joined CtD I was forced to specc mana tide and was not allowed to have it any other way and that was how I had it through my whole time in CtD. I have played in DUSK without mana tide for instance and I performed fine. I dont mind respeccing resto, but I do mind taking useless talents to get manatide. Since my role as a shaman is a buffer and healer, hence alot of talentpoints can be put elsewhere.
Well to your gear is pretty nice, but we are a pve guild. and calling ur int enchant and ur zg enchants on your t2 (elemental pvp parts) aint much to call for an pve uppgrade, more pvp. Id rather have seen you in 5EF parts, since its really important for shammies.
I think we dont need shamans right now. And I can never see why we should chose this shaman, he would never sound like one who would go tide and make some nice resto enchants!
well he might seems to be well equipped. I think I must be one of the badest equipped shamans in our guild and tried to compare my healer stuff with this guy-
Grazzo/Gervantes
+healing- 321/249
mana regen- 19/49
pure mana- 6384/6106 ungimped
spell critt- 5%/10%
Armor- 4685/4406
Fr gear 145/126 and I just need some decent gear to put da lesser arcanum enchants on!
I stick to Quinnan, rather prefer a 5 parts EF shaman! And if we really need more shamans, well lets look for some who like mana tide, we have enough without!
Lets look for more like Quinnan, thats a real resto shammy ^^

Regards Quin
+30 healing on gloves and mana on chest tbh ^^ Thing to add is htat I hate PvP as my shaman and I want nothing to do with it ^^ My goals are strictly raid-healing related.
Cheers ;)
(and regarding my gear for have been in a naxx guild, I wore a lvl 47 green chest and elements shoulders and alot of crappy stuff back then, upgraded it alot. and those ugly boots were just a trade up long ago when I wore green fuzzy boots. :P)
IMO i dont see any reason why we shouldnt let a guy in just becuase he refuse to spec mana tide...iŽd never join a guild if they forced me to go protection tree..so i see your point
his gear is good enough to keep a tank up and his experience could actully help us with our progress in BWL
As long as he can keep himself pretty active wouldnt at least i mind him in valhalla
there is no point in letting more shamans in without mana tides and resto! There is no fun for resto healers and tiders if you know the second half of your team cant do as good as yourself or atleast trying! Its first fun for all when we are all resto, so we know we do our best!
When he did BWL CTD did force him to use mana tide, why shouldnt we do the same? Lets not force anyone to do something they dont want to, but lets not either invite ppl who dont want what we want and I want resto and I want to kill vael and razorgore! and the rest of BWL should be easier!
Its like using 2h on MT cause he wants to do damage!
Refusing to spec mana tide, what about nature's swiftness? Reroll a DPS'er if you want to dps and stop wasting this guilds time.
And considering when you re-applied to dusk you said something like "if I dont get back in I'm going to quit" I find this application and your devotion highly suspect so please explain for them what changed your mind.

That would probably be the fact that I have more stuff to do ingame and got some newfound love for it AND found a guild that might be able to handle low attendence.
And to those thinking I wont touch the resto tree, think, read and reply again. I dont mind beeing resto at all, its the using talents for stuff I dont need just to get a tide. As said; my current specc is just for fun and not for raiding. Its the same principle as with my resistance gear, if I am not in a guild that raids then I have no use carrying them around all the time. Speccs can be changed to fit the situation the same way I can start carrying my gear around. And what buisness I have had with DUSK is my buisness, that is a guild I have truly loved filled with alot of great people (ofc there are *******s there as everywhere) that showed was teamwork was. They were my all or nothing and now I have decided after slowly starting to play again since some rl friends came back and if I am going to play I might aswell try to start anew with new people and new possibilities. So if you have nothing but flaming and destruction to bring without any facts then I suggest you rethink your posting "Reeith".
In a 5 min long fight I restore 2940 mana on mana regen and 1160 on tide.
You have 1140 mana regen in 5 min long boss and no tide.
= I have 2960 more mana than you in a 5 min long fight! I have exactly 8 blue pieces of armor and 6 epics.
that means I have 8 more lesser healing waves than you and I can give 8k more health than you (if we dont calculate too much ^^).
You have more + healing than me, but so again I critt double as many times as you and with da resto build shamans gain the healed target 25% more armor each time we critt heal!
t2 is overrated
this is a reasonable resto build, and I think if we ever get vael that should be required from our shamans! Restoration Talents - 31 point(s)
Tidal Focus - rank 5/5
Ancestral Healing - rank 3/3
Totemic Focus - rank 2/5
Healing Focus - rank 5/5
Healing Grace - rank 3/3
Restorative Totems - rank 5/5
Tidal Mastery - rank 1/5
Nature's Swiftness - rank 1/1
Purification - rank 5/5
Mana Tide Totem - rank 1/1
and then you can play as much you want with the last 20 points! I have more resto but still 25% melee critt and 2h <3
1:st, let me apologize for my latest post, might have come across a tad harder than wanted, but straight out jumping me without knowing anything about my playingstyle, dedication or ever have played with me grinds my gears.
Gerv, I take it that ou have not calculated the bonus from things such as Mar'Li's Eye and such into that calculation? To make a accurate calculation we would actually need to know about any mana regen trinets used in fights (I personally have 2), what our average lhw's heal for and what our lhw crits heal for ^^ Then even taken into consideration that this is NOT, N-O-T my healer specc.
Cause it makes you a very good healer without needing that awful talent.. The resto tree is quite great, but the final talent isnt. Mana tide imo is overrated
dunno if i can put my vote here, our shammies should decide, but /vote no.... too much arguing around here and some bad attitude... dunno what problem u have with putting 1 more point in mana tide after u put 42 talents in resto.
as i said it's up to our shammies to decide, they know how to play their class and only they can correctly judge if u should be accepted, but stil with that kind of attitude i /vote no even if my vote doesn't count :P
Grazzo wrote: found a guild that might be able to handle low attendence
NO NO NO NO NO. Put up with, not handle, cos they're too nice to be hard yes, but do I want them to have to put up with it NO. And I wasn't flaming you for what you said about Dusk, I questioned your motives, let them know what had happened and asked yopu to shed some light.
I think you COULD be a valued asset for them and you seem like a funky kinda chap - but they need shammys with all the bobs and whistles esp if the ones they have got already don't have them all. DUSK may not need everyone with mana tide in BWL but I hazzard a guess that Valhalla could do with all that help till they have more T2 pieces to compensate.
