Paladin, Blood Elf Female, Xewt and i'm level 80 ofc.

What is your current spec? (this is a PvE guild so if you currently are specced for PvP then link what you will spec if you join):
My mainspecc is Retribution (5/11/55) (one of the standardbuilds since 3.2) and i got Protection as my dualspecc.
My prot gear isn't extremely awesome however, so im applying as retri.
I can tank heroics and naxx10/os10 etc. tho.
Got some holy gear in bank as well, but far from a full set.

How long have you played WoW, and how long have you played with this character (meaning /played):
I started playing wow at Halloween 2 years ago (2007), played alliance for a long time before i rerolled here on Maelstrom as horde (about 4-5 months ago)
My played time on this char is about: 18 days overall, 10 days at level 80.

How much and at what hours do you play WoW per week:
Atm its summerbreak, so i don't really have any time-restrictions.
I play as much as i want to, basically.
In a week school starts, so that will minimize my playing, but i'd still have time to play 3-4 hours / a day i'd say at least.

Does this mean you can raid 19:00-23 most weekdays and 19:00-23 on Sundays then?
Yes

What are your previous endgame raiding experiences:
In TBC:

Karazhan - cleared
Gruuls lair - cleared
Magtheridons lair - cleared
SSC - cleared
TK - cleared
MH - cleared
BT - cleared
SWP - cleared (from felmyst and up was after wotlk-nerf patch)

In Wotlk:
Naxx - cleared (both 10 and 25)
OS - cleared (both 10 and 25, done it with a drake up on normal, and attempted 3 drakes zerg on normal as well)
EoE - cleared (10, hopefully 25 soon too)
VoA - cleared (10 and 25)
Ulduar - 13/14 on 25, then like 2/14 on normal

Also i've done all pre-tbc raids at level 70, but that probably isn't interesting. :P

Do you have any more chars (We prefer your application to be with your main character since this is a endgame content raiding guild and we will use much of your WoW time):

No.

Reason why you wanna join:
I wanna raid in a guild with goals/ambitions rather than just pugging raids every week.
Wanna feel that progression-feeling again, that you're moving someplace.

Do you know anyone in Valhalla:
Don't think there's anyone i KNOW well, but i've played with some players...
Think i did VH hc with Loriën earlier today :)

Whats your expectations of Valhalla (elaborate pls):
Well, i wanna raid a couple of times / week.
Doing it serious ofc, but not like the extreme guilds that are flaming people for doing one mistake, what i mean is that i want to have fun doing it.
Hopefully i'll meet a lot of nice/friendly people, but also players who have a clue of how they should play their classes.
I don't really expect everyone to know 100% of their class, but if there's something they've missed, they really should be able to take criticism as something positive, rather than being an alien and claim that they know better. :P

What do you think you would provide to our guild (explaining a bit, again, would be good):
On the socialside, a lot.
Im friendly, pretty much always up for helping friends.. and i'm always trying to become a better player.
I see many people who pretty much fail at their class because they don't follow updates/changes about their class with patches, something that i do tho.
Seeing as i play paladin, i'll contribute with both healing, dps and tanking (when i got the gear for it), and i'd hopefully be a part of progression.
My DPS has been very good, but seeing as the patch came i'm kinda testing out different idea's about the playingstyle to see what makes the best results.
Ever since patch came i've mostly tanked heroics to get conquest emblems, so haven't dps:ed as much lately.
Im almost happy all the time as well, and i usually crack jokes. :)

What previous guilds have you been in, and why did you leave them:
To keep it simple, i'll just write a bit of the story here on maelstrom. (and leave my alliance char out of it)
*Perdition - I kinda took a long-shot and applied to a guild way out of my league (being extremely undergeared), and i actually got accepted.
Raided with them for like 3 weeks, but failed my trial-period because of several minor things.
Went through a lot of stuff IRL at the time, so that surely had it's effect as well.

*Encore - The guild im in now.
Some nice people who knows how to play, some people who clearly doesn't.
I'm quite a perfectionist, and it just saddens me to see some of these people who clearly can't play their classes, who got as many conqueror items as me, but not even gemmed with epic gems/right enchants. ;.;
Also, we don't really raid a lot scheduled.
Been some naxx10's etc, but my weeks pretty much consists of me pugging the raids i wanna raid anyway atm, and that shouldn't be the case.
As i said, some people are really nice and deserve better, some are just... *sigh*

Any other information you might want to share with us:
Well, apart from playing wow my main interest is music.
Got a guitar myself, and im planning on buying a keyboard as well, if i win some money. :)
Im playing the game because i think it's really fun, still im serious when it comes to the raiding-part.
I'm quite an achievement-whore as well, my armory may not show that.. but i really plan on reaching 10 k ach points at some point. :)

What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild?
"A good player doesn't need addons."
On a more serious note, im trying to keep it simple.
Too many addons would really mess things up, make the computer more laggy etc.. and on some bosses, lagspikes = whipe.
The one's im currently using are:
*Pallypower (ofc!)
*omen
*Dbm
*atlastloot (gotta have easy access to purples *drewl*)
*recount (for my epeen)
