Director - Priest
Permalink Closed

Age:  17

What Nationality do you have ? (its just nice to know):  Latvian

Link your profile (Armory or CT profile):
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Maelstrom&n=Director

What class, race, char name and level are you:  Priest, Undead, Director 80

What is your current spec? (this is a PvE guild so if you currently are specced for PvP then link what you will spec if you join): Holy for raids, in armory I have Disc spec activated so see the other one which is Holy. I can be Disc if needed for raids aswell.

How long have you played WoW, and how long have you played with this character (meaning /played): I've played WoW for 4 years I think, this is 5th. I started to play with my cousin. On this character /played is 8 days 18 hours

How much and at what hours do you play WoW per week: I think I play WoW too much, and I try to reduce played about as Summer is coming. Im usually playing at afternoon and evening, not Fridays or Saturdays. I guess it could be 4+ hours.

Does this mean you can raid 19:00-23 most weekdays and 19:00-23 on Sundays then? Yes, only Tuesdays is problem for me, cause Im playing volleyball those days right at evening. And ofc some Fridays and Saturdays doesnt fit, cause Im having parties and so.

What are your previous endgame raiding experiences: In vanilla I was in Guildlink we cleared, MC,ZG,AQ20,Half of AQ40, BWL till Neffy.
In TBC, Ive cleared only Karazan and Gruul. (Wasnt much into PvE then)

Do you have any more chars (We prefer your application to be with your main character since this is a endgame content raiding guild and we will use much of your WoW time):Yeah, I have lvl 80 mage, and lvl 70 rogue. Not playing them at all though. Not couning disenchanting on mage and auctioning on rogue.

Are you sharing your WoW account or toon with anyone. Meaning, can it happen that someone else then you are playing on the toon you are applying with? Nope, none.

Reason why you wanna join: I want to PvE again, Ive spent whole TBC doing arenas, with success. Now I want to see some PvE content. Ofc I wont let down PvP side totally, but Ill focus on PvE, cause I miss laughs on vent. :))

Do you know anyone in Valhalla: Too bad, but no. I dont know many PvE ppl. Most of my friends are from PvP guilds.

Whats your expectations of Valhalla (elaborate pls): To give me raid spots (when my gear meets required), nice attitude in guild, fun, friends. Nice atmoshpere.

What do you think you would provide to our guild (explaining a bit, again, would be good): Some healing love. Cant provide you guys with any of proffesions cause I dont have any yet. Thats because I leveld up with 3x exp with my friends so I didnt have time for proffesions, but now Im thinking about levelin. I'd provide you with some good jokes in guild chat as Im friendly person.

What previous guilds have you been in, and why did you leave them: On this character only Withering. On my previous toons, I was in Guildink guild Mercenaries of Darkness, I left it because when we had enough ppl to start raiding on our own officers were afraid to leave guildlink and I thought I cant take newcomer noobs in guildinkg and left MoD. Then I took break came back to WoW at start of TBC and joined old Guildink guild Violence Reborn, I raided with them for some time, while leveling up my rogue. When I hit 70 with rogue I said goodbye to PvE and started to PvP on my rogue and joined Havoc. I was in Havoc for really long time leading premades and such, but then Blizzard nerfed premades and I couldnt be arsed with WoW anymore and quit. Came back for WotLK leveld my mage to 80, realised I dont like WotLK quit. Now Im back with my priest.

Any other information you might want to share with us: Thanks for you time!

What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? Teamspeak 2, Deadly Boss Mod, Omen/KTM addon. And EPGP loot addon.

Hi!

I'm pretty sure you are the priest I chatted with (on my druid Konny), and you said you used to play arena at 2k+?

In my opinion high level arena is harder than our level of PvE so you should be more than ok skill-wise.

You gear is not awesome yet. You could impress us with a plan how to gear up, for example what items to get next and how etc.

I used to play in guildlink on my warrior Iliopsoas, maybe I remember your old character?

Yep, Im that priest. As for my gearing, Im waiting for raid resets, cause to be honest I dont find heroics fun, I just do them to do dailies. However when raid resets Im gonna do few raids and prolly gonna get some nice PvE gear :)

I doubt you'd remember my mage Mosquitos, cause I started raiding soon after Valhalla and Violence Reborn left Guildlink.

If you can get gear upgrades from heroics but choose not to, it seems you're not too dedicated about reaching optimal performance though?

Well in some way yes, but I think gearing is fast enough in pug raids. Like in last Naxx25 I were, I got 5 epics, not bad? That means one more Naxx run and ill get ~3 more pieces + Emblems just enough to buy piece from that vendor. And as I said I do daily heroics, if that is really not enough, I guess PvE is not right place for me. :/

P.S. Doing heroics with pugs is awful.

We've got a few peps in the guild gearing up in heroics + pugs at the moment along with alts and the like.

So on the understanding that you will continue to gear yourself up outside of official guild raids during your trail period then you will be accepted for trial.

Is that somehting you would agree to?

Yes, I already discussed that with Konny. As I said it's not like I want to jump straight in Ulduar. Ill be more than happy just to hand around in guild. And doing heroics with people with brains are way better. :)

Well my point is that you should rely less on luck with drops in pugs (since it might take forever if unlucky) and focus on getting upgrades by any means neccesary.
Atleast that would show that you really want to keep your character on top and prove that you're really into raiding.

(I have no part in accepting/declining applicants so ignore this if you want)

Good luck with the apply though.
