What Nationality do you have ? (its just nice to know): I'm from Sweden
Link your profile (Armory or CT profile): http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Maelstrom&n=Yashka
What class, race, char name and level are you: Yashka - Troll Male - Priest - Lvl 70
What is your current spec? (this is a PvE guild so if you currently are specced for PvP then link what you will spec if you join): 7/0/54 - No this is my pvp specc, so I will specc something more relevant for PvE'ing. I haven't caught the exact stats yet, but it shouldn't be that hard to specc up a good one.
How long have you played WoW, and how long have you played with this character (meaning /played): I've played World of Warcraft since the release of pre TBC. I got a rogue, a priest and a shaman on lvl 70. My playtime on my preist is 61 days.
How much and at what hours do you play WoW per week: Well, I usually play all days, if I don't have tons of homeworks. Which I rarely do ;). Or I might skip a weekend day or two once in a while to be with my GF. Else I'm all yours ;).
Does this mean you can raid 18:30-23 most weekdays and 18:30-23 on Sundays then? :Ooooh Yes! :).
What are your previous endgame raiding experiences: I've done all of the raids in TBC to the fullest except Naxx, which I've only killed one boss in ( Anub'Rekhan ). In TBC I've done KZ , ZA, SSC 6/6, TK 3/4, 1/5 MH and tried first boss in BT awsell.
Do you have any more chars (We prefer your application to be with your main character since this is a endgame content raiding guild and we will use much of your WoW time): Yes, Yashka is my new main though. So I play pvp/arena on my other char and my main activity will be on my priest.
Reason why you wanna join: Cause I have a few friends in Valhalla, that I want to play with
Do you know anyone in Valhalla: Yes: Asgadd, Nium(Xevin), Tsou, Riio, Pae and Meap.
Whats your expectations of Valhalla (elaborate pls): To enjoy the endgame challenges and to have a great time both inside and outside the raids. And ofc as everyone does, catch some gear in the process ;).
What do you think you would provide to our guild (explaining a bit, again, would be good): My activity will be a great deal of it, also my previous raiding experience both pre tbc and tbc exp will save you alot of time with me as a trial ( if you decide it to be so). Also: I'm a great team player and I'm not too naggy about whipes.
What previous guilds have you been in, and why did you leave them: Well, I've only been in one guild as priest. I was in Carpe Noctum on Chromaggus before I transfered here last week or so. The reason is already found: I want to play with my RL mates.
Any other information you might want to share with us: Well as mentioned above: I have alot of raiding experience, both in TBC and Pre TBC. I think my experience as a raider would be the biggest benefit for you. A gear is easy to call off, but also easy to claim. Experience though, is a new matter ^^.
What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? Are there eny endgame instances you are not attuned to?: Addons: Deadly bossmods Omen X Pearl Atlas
Please explain how you would play your character when fighting the last boss in Karazhan, Prince Malchezaar).
Well... As a start I'd take place at where it's decided to stand. I'd dot him up with SW:pain, vampiric touch and keep them up at all times. I'd Keep an eye on the SW:pain who Malchezaar casts to dispell it. Is my dots ticks, I start mind flaying and throwing mind blasts and some SW:death to increase my dps = the mana reg for the group. Aswell as I follow the group if we get hit by the infernal to find a new spot. And ofcourse move out of the enfeeble's as I'm standing in range of it when I'm using mind flays.
Please also post what type of buffs and consumables you would use before and during the fight. Mana food Wizard oil Flask of pure Death ( if it's a progress boss ) Elixir of shadow power ( if it's a farm instance/boss )
Great raiding experience, great player. Nothing to complain about really, the gear might be a bit low, but we(asgadd, pae, riio, tsou,me and so on) are helping to gear him up really fast.
Tho he can be abit noob with shadow word death :> that's not a problem thought
As above, gear isn't be best but he knows what's doing and that goes alot longer then the extra 50 spell dmg.
/vote yes

As your probly aware your gear could do with a little work but thats no bigy, ya mention speccing more pve so what are your thoughts on holy?
And the raid experience ya mention was that on this toon?
My raid exp is on my Shaman, TBC. My pre tbc exp is both holy priest and combat rogue. Well I have some holy gear, though I'd prefere to stay shadow I might aswell do as holy. It's not really any biggie for me. But my healing gear is scattered all over my bags and it's only ilike 50% complete ^^.
For a raiding shadow priest; Overall nicely setup.
Talent Build;Try dropping one point from silence, two points from imp Psychic scream, two from Imp VE and one point from shadow weaving. Then go for Meditation and Inner focus. It will help your mana in long fights (esp at your current dmg)
This gear will scrape by in SSC/TK. Unsuitable for BT/MtHygal. The extra +150/200 spell dmg required will take some time to gear up.
Edit: This will be a long trial before he can participate in BT/ Hygal raids. 300 badges will upgrade 3 items, that still leaves alot of slots requiring raid loot.
