What is your current spec? (this is a PvE guild so if you currently are specced for PvP then link what you will spec if you join): restoration

How much and at what hours do you play WoW per week: depends the work i have to do! but between 5:30pm and 10pm im usually available
Does this mean you can raid 18:30-23 most weekdays and 18:30-23 on Sundays then? yes!
What are your previous endgame raiding experiences: Kara and grulls
Do you have any more chars (We prefer your application to be with your main character since this is a endgame content raiding guild and we will use much of your WoW time):

Any other information you might want to share with us: hmm i changed spec today and it doesnt appear on armory so u can come near me ingame and inspect,and i have 1300 healing but i already have mats to enchant and craft dragonscale head so i think ill get over 1350, 1400 healing. PS. Im skipyy Translator
What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? Are there eny endgame instances you are not attuned to? Grid , KTM threat meter.

c) If you are a healer. Please explain which skills/spells you use to maximise your healing on the main tank as well as the other raid members while at the same time managing your mana pool.

I would give to main tank healing wave rank 1 before to active the bonus healing and then give some healing waves and spam some lesser healing waves(because burns lots of mana) and to raiders when the 3rd part comes the raider attacked by axes i would give lessers.
PS: dont think any raider would lose hp on flames..

what is the most effecient healingspell for the shaman?

PS. Im skipyy Translator. What does this mean?

Do you ever take overhealing into consideration? How do you counter this problem?

the most eficient healing spells for shaman is healing wave.

when skippy doesnt understand wat u are telling him i translate and when he doesnt know how to right something i tell him.


yes i do! overhealing is a waste of mana :S thats why i said that lessers heals arent good to shamans because it spends lots of mana thats why healing wave is the most effecient.


ps. overhealing = Grid addon = greenpoint = incoming heals

the most effecient heal is chain heal rank 4, then comes healing wave rank 8 then chain heal rank 5 etc. Chain heal is only healing 1 target in this calculation. An average raiding shaman use chain heal 80% of the time.

You write that you would use lessers when attacked by axes, this is ofcourse your own choise, but I do not believe this is the most effective way. We are not paladins, and you should never use lesser heals ever, unless it is an extreme emergenzy, and axes on prince isnt, it is about timing.

You counter overhealing with lower ranked heals and interruption of own heals.

Anyway you have alot to learn, gl

yeah but ranks also depends of bonus healing u have :S!

yes i know i have alot to learn i never did zm , tk , ssc. but i have never had problems doing kara and grulls

Hello Drextuga,

Thanks for you application.

Your gear does need some upgrades. We could use one more resto shaman so that is a bonus. Can you try to get your gear enchanted etc and go up to a +healing of around +1500 it will greatly benefit your chances to get a trial spot.

Regarding how you heal and what ranks you use I am no expert on resto shamans so I would like our other resto shammys comments on that. But although you have stuff to learn I want to be sure about that you are willing to adapt your playstyle to what our exprienced resto shammys says. Are you willing to learn and adapt your playstyle and talents to what is good for the guild?

yeah im working on it im doing kara with friends already did 4bosses 2day and go do 2 more now!

i already have items to enchant just need to find enchanter and already got mats to craft living dragonscale helm just need crafter also!

hmm in 2 or 1 day i think ill get +1500 healing!

im already with 1450 so when i get s1 mace and new head and the enchant on head i think ill get near 1600 healing!
