What Nationality do you have ? (its just nice to know): Grunty Finn =)
Link your profile (Armory or CT profile): Well since my armory data is way too old and CT profile dont exist ill just type it :P. Gear: 10 epics, 6 rare and 1 uncommon Shadow +dmg: with this build 1131 ~ 1k dps
What class, race, char name and level are you: Warlock, blood elf, Nervin 70
What is your current spec? (this is a PvE guild so if you currently are specced for PvP then link what you will spec if you join): Build: 5/42/14, sick and tired of pvp...
How long have you played WoW, and how long have you played with this character (meaning /played): 20d 8h
How much and at what hours do you play WoW per week: Depends if I have lots of work to do on daytime, but around 14. When raiding it can easily be much more.
Does this mean you can raid 18:30-23 most weekdays and 18:30-23 on Sundays then? Yes Im able to raid at those times.
What are your previous endgame raiding experiences: Pre-TBC: Full ZG,MC,BWL,AQ20 80% AQ40, 2 bosses in naxx. TBC: Kara, Gruul, SSC 4 bosses, TK 1 boss.
Do you have any more chars (We prefer your application to be with your main character since this is a endgame content raiding guild and we will use much of your WoW time): Yes I have a paladin on another server, but havent played with it for along time.
Reason why you wanna join: I wish to raid first raid dungeons to gear up for more challenging events, and I want to do that with nice and friendly people to get the most out of it =)
Do you know anyone in Valhalla: No-one very specially. I have just bumped to some of you on dungeon runs now and then.
Whats your expectations of Valhalla (elaborate pls): Mostly im in to have some good time. Raid progress isn't any good if you feel like cutting yourself while making it. Most important in raiding is to have good feeling when doing it, even if it costs the price of fast progress. From what I have heard and experienced you are the people doing just that and thats why I'd like to join you.
What do you think you would provide to our guild (explaining a bit, again, would be good): Experience cos of my previous raiding. I might be able to bring some good viewpoints when downing bosses.
What previous guilds have you been in, and why did you leave them: Currently Im in Havuja Perkele. Its a nice guild and I have friends there. But the reason Im leaving is cos tbh my gear is too crappy for me to participate their raids.
Before HP I was in an alliance guild on Twisting Nether, but I had to leave them beacause my RL was falling apart in lack of sleep cos of the late raiding times.
What addons/programs do u need to be able to function properly in the guild? Are there eny endgame instances you are not attuned to? Addons Im using are basically Omen and necrosis + many more worthless UI crap that keeps crashing :P
Looks kind of good. We need more active warlocks so your chances are good. Can you please let me know how you would spec for PvE if you got invited in the guild?
I would propalby stick close to the build I currently have since it gives best pve dps I have managed so far. Affliction would work too but its sucky in trash and doesnt give that high dps even on bigger encounters. Here is what I had in mind:http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZsxczIiz0xsLxx0tr0z
haha tbh i laughed when i saw that spec dude u are trying full demon spec and u put demonic sucrifice?? ffs get the point off that and go 5/5 demonic tactics that spec is efficient only with an active pet so choose wisely between succy or imp cause succy gives 15% more dmg but if she dies ur dps falls a lot. And btw that spec isnt efficient in ssc/tk for many reasons u should try 0/21/40 if u have 170+ hit rating or affl with suppression to fill the low hit rating if u want to have max dps
Im not saying that build is very good for all, but for me it works since I have over 200 more shadow spelldmg than overall spelldmg. But anyways Im not arguing what build I should have since you are most likely more experienced with warlocks. I have played 20d with lock, 160d with paladin so I havent got all the talent math in my head if you know what I mean.
Forsaken, thanks for you comments but please do not post any comments in other people applications when you are not a member of Valhalla and are applying for a spot yourself.
Nervin, your +shadowdamage is quite good. The spec proposal that you posted is not really optimal for PvE and we can work on that. As long as you are OK with speccing for the good of the guild and not personal preference we are happy with it. When it comes to warlock specs there is no really "right or wrong" spec as it also much depends on what the rest of the warlocks in the guild are specced like. In a 25man raid we usualy wish to have atleast 3 warlocks where 2 should be specced affliction and one should be 0/21/40 destruction. But it all depends also of course on what type of gear the locks have.
If you are happy with speccing according to guild needs I am positive towards giving you a trial spot.
Vote big yes too if Nervin agrees to work out his spec for PVE together with Ashi. Talked to applicant some in-game, seems like a friendly and mature player.
