I think we should give this guy a change, his gear isnt what it should be yet but can worse. Looks like he worked rly hard to get good raiding gear without a good guild nice gems in all slots of his gear en full enchanted.

I dont know much about warriors an how they need to spend there talents maybe someone else can look if its good, but i do know we need 1 or 2 new good tanks.

I have a couple of questions.

1. Exactly what abilities do you use to generate threat? In what order do you use them?

2. Assume you would start tanking 25man instances. How do you think your specc should be adjusted?

Hi everybody!

First, i would like to say "tnx" for your replays about my application.

1. In the instance i try to use as much as possible abilities to increase threat. It depend on the situation in the instance. If i tank pack of the mobs i ussually use Sunders on main target+(thunder clap+ demo shout on others)+shield block+revenge+shield slam+devastate+devastate+devastate. On boss i usually use sunders till 5 + spam shield block + macro (Shield Slam+Revenge+Devastate+Devastate+Devastate)+ Demo Shout. And i use thaunt if i need it.
2. I will carry out all RL tasks, becouse 25 pll raid is one big team with the individual tasks

I don't remember the exact sequence, but your answer is ok.

But sunder is not a preferred ability compared to the others. From http://www.wowwiki.com/Formulas:Oohlas_Spreadsheets:

Threat per rage: revenge > shield slam > devastate 5 > improved sunder > sunder > devastate 0

So, starting with 5 sunders on a boss is not a great idea.

I think you misunderstood the question. I was asking how you would change your specc, that is, how you would change your talent tree.
In a 25man instance I don't think Improved Taunt is useful since bosses are generally immune to taunt.

There was something else in your specc which I don't think is useful in 25man instances but I forgot :)

Sorry, threat per second is what is interesting on a boss, here we go:

Threat per sec: shield slam > revenge > devastate 5 > improved sunder = sunder > devastate 0

Yes i agree with you. Improved Taunt in the 25 ppl instance is unnecessary points in my tallents tree, the same as in 10 ppl instance (Kara). I am open to change my talents, of course, and i will do it when i will paricipate that raids. With my present guild i usually do heroic and i use taunt time to time for return mob to me (especially when i tank pack of mobs).

possitive: seems ambitious, nice gems in his gear etc, old (wich in most cases means mature)

negative: not that great gear and i think you should learn to more or less top use sunders :) ...but you can read my tanking guide when we give ya a trial spot ;)

i vote yes for trial......i guess it can be good with a tank who is not fully kara geared also...then he is motivated to go karazhan with hekate and ashibala ;) haha

Oki mate, you just bought yourself a trial spot in our guild. Take the advice you´ve been given in this thread, reagrding spec, joining Kara to gear up, and don´t forget to read BigBobos tanking school :)
