ok indeed my gear isnt very good yet, but tbh its not all about the gear but also about who plays the char and how dedicated he is to get the job done. besides im making over hours to get my gear up biggrin

Trinket: Glowing Crystal Insignia, 26 spell damage, 104 spell damage for 20 sec. on use
- Alliance Zangarmarsh quest reward. The Horde equivalent is Ancient Crystal Talisman
Weapon: Blade of Wizardry, 159 spell damage, chance of 280 spell haste for 6 seconds
- Of all the items, this is the hardest to get by far, as it is a rare epic BoE world drop. You can try to farm it and get lucky, or you can buy it for over 2K gold in the AH. Expensive, but worth it. The proc rate combined with Quagmirran's Eye is amazing for PvE. Since it's understandable if you can't get this item, check the alternate section for other options.
Off-hand: Orb of the Soul Eater, 51 Shadow damage, 18 stamina
- -To get this you will need to turn in 25 Heroic badges. This is one of the cheapest rewards actually. You can farm for this and Quagmirran's Eye simultaneously. If you can't run Heroics, check the alternate section.
Wand: Wand of the Netherwing, 16 spell damage, 19 stamina
- Drops off Blackheart the Inciter in Shadow Labyrinth.

Hi unholy, yes I agree with you that it is very much about the one who is playing the character and how dedicated he/her is. In fact I would everyday rather have a dedicated person in the guild instead of one with the best equipment there is but that doesnt care abotu the guild at all.
Unfortunatly that is quite hard to know from a application of course. But in many cases you can get a very good idea on the personality of the player and dedication by looking at the gear/reputation etc. If someone is dedicated to the game and the guild I would hope that the person also strives to have good gear, be attuned to instances, have enchants and gems on items etc.
Dont take me wrong here, I am not arguing with how dedicated you might be to the guild you are in. I am simply stating that it is hard for any guild that gets an application from anyone at lvl 70 with unenchanted green gear to consider him/her as dedicated.
At the moment we could also have the use of one more warlock in the guild so I am very much in favor of you working on getting your equipment upgraded and we will review the application.

And yes, Nedys list above is very good. I would not say that it is only those items that are an option but it is a good start and after all the single most important stat for warlocks is the +damage so getting it to around +900 with any combination of the equipment as well as gems and enchants would be great.

He will be there but I have as mentioned been rather bored today at work so went onto the armoury and if he got 900 DPS as a affliction spec he would be one of the top locks in the guild as only one has +900DPS and that is buffed. We have destro locks with High DPS but very low Crit we have Afflictions with low DPS and High Crit and I think only one that seems to match his gear to his build and that is a Demo spec that has low DPS, lowish crit but stacks of HP
