Could you tell us how you DPS in a raid?

How I dps in raids?
Well...I wait on sunders...go use some backstap and after 2 backstap crits or 4 none crit I use feint and rupture/eviscerate (depends if I have just used rupture) and if I get hit by an AoE I run back and bandage.

Stupid question, btw happy with that answer? =P

No, I don't think I am that stupid

I know our former guild master, Ooze, got disappointed when he heard that some rogues had not understood the value of slice&dice, but maybe that is not part of your specc. I don't know much about rogues, but I am pretty sure that there are rogues out there who don't DPS perfectly, as well as there are warriors not tanking perfectly.

Can any rogue comment on this?

When Im dps in raids, I have an feeling that hiting a little faster with my 100/150 white dmg and burst dmg specc arent that much and would like to save the energy for another backstap and crit 800+, used Slice and Dice back when I had an slow main hand and specced off hand spez (combat) since then I was hiting a lot more white dmg. (damn I loved those times and want to respecc Adrenalin rush xD)
Well, thats why I dont like it, I might have wrong =/

And btw, I dont think you are stupid, it was the question...Did take some time for me to understand what you did mean with it and how I was gonna write it =P

You havn't put any talent points on s&d, but instead you put 2 in instant poison.

Ooze is very right in that the white dmg is important, and s&d increase the white dmg with 30%.

You have 2 points in instant poison upgrade, that makes it even more important to use S&D, but I'd rather seen you used them on the slice and dice improvement, cause its really good to have that upgrade in pve, even as a dagger rouge.

Why do you prefer to use rupture before eviscerate, when you don't have imp. rupture but imp. eviscerate?

Go adrenalin-rush, combat-dagger or sword, that way you'll do the best dps in our raids.

Well, why I have put talent in imp instant poison and not in Slice and Dice, hmm...dont realy know, last time I respecced I did specc for pvp, didnt think about pve at that time (and it was stupid I know and if you see, I have used another 2 in Murderer that also waste I could have used in Slice.)
And all that I need for respecc is an new sword (or first/mace) tired of beeing dagger rogue, have been looking after that now for an while, but ofc it never droped any good weapons

Why I prefer Rupture for Eviscerate...hmm...To be honest, its just something I have done since lvl44 when I had imp rupture, and as I sayid in one of my other replays, I dont know everything.
But you are learning something every day you live.
Im always looking for new ways to play my class better and I always hear on when other tell me tips (and it may be some days I hear it and forget it )

if u're looking for good main hand sword, go for rend mh or that quest reward from silithus (forgot name as usuall), for quest u need to kill first boss in AQ20 and snake boss in ZG (if u get into guild it's easy :P), quest sword is slightly better then rend and much easier to get

and SnD is a must!!! in boss fight u can keep SnD on and still have cp for evis/rupture, and dps increase is nice

bah, dunno if u can understand what i've written, i'm little tired :P

You said that U played and watched TV at the same time, I hope it doesn't meen that you watch TV during raids, because we like people to be fully focused at our raids.

Besides that: Tromsö, nice, I usally spend alot of time in Bardu in my vaccations (svigermor/svigerfar), have also visisted Tromsö a couple of times, the country and mountains are amazing

I know of Dal'rend, but dont wanna start farming UBRS after an sword with alot less dps then what I already have (damn boring ) and the sword from ZG/AQ quest...well...the dagger you get there was the dagger I got when I respecced xD

And Blueberry, Kinda hard to watch TV and hear someone talking (yelling) at VT/TS at the same time, so I normaly turn it of on raids.

And when you live in Tromsø all year and see all those mountains, the rain, the sun thats "always" there etc, you get tierd after an while (and ofc all the people from Japan that cant talk English and watching a moose)

Actually, I have the
Dal'Rend swords, in my bank atleast. I do very good DPS with them. It's not a "too hard" effort to get them.
Atm I have 2 daggers equipped, in order to make things easier to get to exalted with Frostwolf Clan, and claim some ranks while i'm at it. After that, I was thinking of a sword build again. Very much like the Ooze one

It's the same with my DPS actually... just wait for the sunders, then attack, get 2-3 combo points and
then SnD, just to get the speed up, and keep a smoooooooth DPS all they way.
Using constant 'Feint' is a must, in order to NOT steal aggro from the tanks. And when the raid leaders tell you to 'nuke' (most often on bosses). Then activate the 'Adrenaline Rush' and nuke the !"¤@ out of them

It's just beautiful :')

Well, I just got an messenge from the deliver of my internet, I will lose my connection the nigth from sunday to monday and will not have an connection for 2 weeks.
You guys can do what you want, put this apply on ice, decline it whatsoever, I cant do anything for prevent this =(
